Here’s how you make an entrance. Audi’s first F1 car, the R26, is an absolute stunner.

The mixture of Titanium, Audi Red, and Black will turn heads, even if we wish the final livery, like the concept that previewed it last fall, wasn’t so cluttered with sponsor logos.

Only time will tell if the team can better its ninth-place finish from last season, when it was racing under the Kick Sauber name, but it can count on having one of the best-looking cars week after week.

Racing since: 1993 (Audi since 2026)
Principal: Jonathan Wheatley
Drivers:  Gabriel Bortoleto (19th) and Nico Hülkenberg (11th)
Team titles: 0
Last season: 9th

There may be no team under more pressure in 2026 than Scuderia Ferrari, which failed to put up much of a challenge during Lewis Hamilton’s first season with the outfit.

See if the SF-26 car that the seven-time champ and Charles Leclerc will drive this season is up to the task.

Some may not know that the white segment co-sponsor HP has grown larger since last year, but it only manages to highlight just how iconic of a color Rosso Corsa is.

Racing since: 1950
Principal: Frédéric Vasseur
Drivers: Charles Leclerc (5th) and Lewis Hamilton (6th)
Team titles: 16 (last title in 2008)
Last season: 4th

Red Bull Racing RB22

For a few seasons, it was next to impossible to tell one Red Bull livery from another.

hat changed last year, when the team added more colors to the mix.

It’s built on that this year, with splashes of yellow, red, and a richer blue than ever before.

It remains to be seen if Max Verstappen can win his fifth driver’s title in six seasons, but whatever happens, he’ll do it in style.

Racing since: 1997 (Red Bull Racing since 2005)
Principal: Laurent Mekies
Drivers: Max Verstappen (2nd) and Isack Hadjar (12th)
Team titles: 6 (2023)
Last season: 3rd

It’s amazing what a little color can do for a livery.

Haas’s new car, the VF-26, is done up primarily in black and white, but it also features liberal splashes of red—particularly the logo of its new title sponsor, Toyota Gazoo Racing, on the engine cover—that really bring the livery alive.

Haas tends to be something of an afterthought on the grid, but it can take price in one of the best-looking cars of 2026.

Racing since: 2016
Principal: Ayao Komatsu
Drivers: Esteban Ocon (15th) and Oliver Bearman (13th)
Team titles: 0
Last season: 8th

Racing Bulls VCARB 03

Racing Bulls will always be Red Bull’s little brother, but that doesn’t mean it has to recede in the background.

This year’s livery, like last year’s, features a predominantly white base but less clutter than that of its predecessor.

This allows its many splashes of color to really pop, especially the charging bull logo of its parent company.

Racing Bulls won’t be chasing top honors this season, but that doesn’t mean it can’t turn heads.

Racing since: 1985 (Racing Bulls since 2024)
Principal: Alan Permane
Drivers: Liam Lawson (14th) and Arvid Lindblad (n/a)
Team titles: 0
Last Season: 6th

Mercedes-AMG Petronas W17

Mercedes-AMG Petronas looks to have finally perfected a design concept that it’s been refining this entire decade.

This year’s car, W17, features the same silver-to-black gradient that is expected from the team, but tops it with more white accents to go with its trademark streaks of Patronas Green.

It just looks like something meant to go fast, which, we imagine, is exactly what principal Toto Wolff wanted.

Racing since: 1970 (AMG Petronas since 2010)
Principal: Toto Wolff
Drivers: George Russell (4th) and Andrea Kimi Antonelli (7th)
Team titles: 8 (2021)
Last season: 2nd

Williams FW48

It’s hard to view last season as anything other than a rousing success for Williams.

The team placed fifth in the constructors’ standings, and both Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon cracked the top 10 of the Driver’s standings.

They’ll look to build on this performance in 2026, with a car, FW48, that features a refined version of last year’s livery.

As in past years, there’s plenty of black, blue, and white, but the livery’s lines are smoother than ever before.

Racing Since: 1978
Principal: James Vowles
Drivers: Carlos Sainz (9th) and Alexander Albon (8th)
Team Titles: 9 (1997)
Last Season: 5th

McLaren MCL40

McLaren isn’t looking to shake things too much with its current livery, and it’s not hard to figure out why.

The team’s latest car, MCL40, is done up in almost exactly the same bold colorway as its two Constructors’ Championship-winning predecessors, the MCL38 and MCL39.

That means the racer is covered in Papaya Orange and black, with the livery’s main colors only broken up by its many sponsorship logos.

Racing since: 1966
Principal: Andrea Stella
Drivers: Lando Norris (1st) and Oscar Piastri (3rd)
Team titles: 10 (2025)
Last Season: 1st

Alpine A526

Let’s get this out of the way: Alpine’s car has gorgeous colors.

The mix of blue and pink will stand out, even when the car’s moving at speeds in excess of 200 mph.

The problem is, this year’s livery is almost identical to last year’s.

There’s hope the new rule changes really do usher in a new era of F1, but Alpina’s car looks still stuck in the past.

Racing since: 1986 (Alpine since 2021)
Principal: Flavio Briatore
Drivers: Pierre Gasly (18th in the 2024 Driver’s Championship standings) and Franco Colapinto (20th)
Team titles: 0
Last season: 10th

image-of-Aston-Martin-AMR26

Aston Martin AMR26

Aston Martin’s 2026 livery feels like a revision of last year’s rather than a reimagination.

There are some changes—the car sports a satin finish, and its lime green accents are more prominent than before—but they’re minimal.

The primary hue of British Racing Green still looks good, but it’d be nice to see the team try harder, although considering that it fell to seventh last, it’s probably wise to focus its attention on the track.

Racing since: 2018
Principal: Adrian Newey
Drivers: Fernando Alonso (10th) and Lance Stroll (16th)
Team titles: 0
Last season: 7th
